Artists home born New Zeland native Rose McIver started appearing in commercials at the tender age of two, and by the time she was four she had already landed a role in tv! Ever since, her parents, specially her Mum, have tried to get her out of acting and plan her life around studies, and so she has. But of course, she didn't give up acting either! She has found time to stay active in the entertainment buisness and attend school all at once. She's done so great that she did it so well that she didn't only graduate with the rest of her class last year, but she was honored NZ Film and Television Award for Best Juvenile Actress in a TV Series!
Now, at 19, Rose counts with quite a large c.v., she mostly worked in New Zeland tv, from soap operas to serious roles in dramas like "Rude Awakenings". She also starred in tv series "Maddigan's Quest", reached Europe and the USA, and a long list of movies from "Murder in Greenwich" to "Hercules".
Most recently she has entered the Disney Channel world, with the 2003 movie "Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off" and is also starring in the upcomming adventure film "Johnny Kapahala: Back on Board". The action packed movie is set to premiere on June 8th 2007 on Disney Channel and promises a ton of fun. Rose is loving it, specially learning skateboarding for the role.
Meanwhile, the young actress has fallen in love with teather, and wants to do musicals. So this year, she plans on going back to taking ballet and jazz classes. We're sure whatever she does, this laid back busy bee will be reach all her goals and we all can't wait to see more and more of her!
